CABI board welcomed to Switzerland

CABI board welcomed to Switzerland

CABI’s Swiss centre welcomed the organisation’s board of directors to Delémont last week (2-4 July 2017). In addition to attending the CABI board meeting, the directors toured the centre and met with staff.

“This was a very productive and worthwhile visit,” commented CABI Board Chair Philip Walters. “It was fascinating to receive an insight into the projects being worked on at the centre and their contribution to CABI’s overall goals. We were very impressed by the scientific quality of the projects presented to us.”

CABI Country Director Hariet Hinz added: “This was a wonderful opportunity to welcome the board, especially new board members, to our centre and present to them some of our strategic projects. The interest and support of the board in our work is very motivating for us, and we look forward to helping deliver CABI’s strategic priorities in the years ahead.”
