The UK-CGIAR Centre is part of a strategic partnership between the UK Government, UK science and CGIAR geared towards achieving transformational change in agriculture around the world.
Forging scientific partnerships for impact
The Centre will be building on the strong relationships that already exist as well as nurturing new partnerships between CGIAR and UK science, specifically in areas where ties are not well developed and where stronger links would create win-win scenarios for parties.
How UK-CGIAR is funded
The UK-CGIAR Secretariat comprises partnerships between the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the UK Research and Innovation Group (UKRI) and the CGIAR Science Leadership and System Office.
