UK-CGIAR Centre

Collaboration in Science and Innovation

You are here: The UK-CGIAR Centre

All UK-CGIAR Centre projects are commissioned through a closed competition process for invited applicants only and these are determined by a careful selection process involving the Centre Secretariat, funders and senior CGIAR representatives.  We do not, under any circumstances, accept unsolicited approaches for funding.

Forging scientific partnerships for impact

The Centre will be building on the strong relationships that already exist as well as nurturing new partnerships between CGIAR and UK science, specifically in areas where ties are not well developed and where stronger links would create win-win scenarios for parties.

How UK-CGIAR is funded

The UK-CGIAR Secretariat comprises partnerships between the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the UK Research and Innovation Group (UKRI) and the CGIAR Science Leadership and System Office.
