18 August 2014 CABI is proud to announce that it has entered into agreement with CNPIEC, the China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Corporation, to make CABIs eBooks available through its CNP eReading platform. The decision to work with CNPIEC was taken to increase the exposure of CABIs eBooks in the growing Chinese market and maximize the choices users have about how to access CABI content.
CABI publishes high quality titles written by world experts in agriculture and applied sciences. Main subject areas include animal and veterinary sciences, biotechnology, plant and animal breeding / genetics, crop protection, environmental and forest sciences, food sciences, human health and nutrition, public health and communicable diseases, and leisure and tourism.
CNP eReading is a one stop eBook platform built in respond to demands from Chinese libraries with their own unique set of requirements and local acquisition norms.
CNP eReading will carry more than 600 individual book titles from CABI. A preview is available at the CNPIEC Zone in Hall W2 for the duration of the International Beijing Book Fair, which will take place on 27-31 August 2014.
