SciDev.Net – the world’s leading source of news on science for global development – has today joined The Trust Project’s aim of increasing transparency and trust in the news media.
SciDev.Net is part of CABI – but operates editorially independently with its content overseen by an independent Editorial Advisory Group whose role is to ensure its editorial independence protocol is adhered to.
The Trust Project is made up of more than 120 news sites – including SciDev.Net and others such as The Economist and The Washington Post – which are now adhering to the Project’s Trust Indicators. The Indicators are the first transparency standard for news that helps people easily recognize the commitments and expertise behind trustworthy journalism.
