16 July 2014 – CABI and the University of Neuchatel are now accepting applications for a unique new degree programme in Integrated Crop Management (ICM). Students from around the world will come to Canton Jura, Switzerland to learn from experts about sustainable agriculture strategies to apply in practice and policy back home. Scholarship opportunities are available to help this programme reach high-calibre individuals worldwide. This is the first post-graduate degree to be offered in the Jura region and will commence with its inaugural class in March 2015. Applications can be submitted until 1 September 2014.

ICM involves managing crops to optimize yield and profitably with minimal negative impact on the environment. It is increasingly required as a standard for agricultural production around the world. The academic programme aims to address today’s critical agricultural and environmental challenges by creating a unique higher education opportunity in Switzerland about ICM. The Masters of Advanced Studies in ICM, also offered as a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS), will give students everywhere the opportunity to learn about sound crop management principles.
