Qualifications

MSc in Agricultural Entomology, BSc in Botany/ Zoology

I am an experienced agricultural entomologist with a proven background in agricultural research and mass rearing beneficial insects and mites. In addition, I have hands on experience in project implementation in the international development sector.

Prior to joining CABI, I enjoyed a career as an Assistant Entomologist at Dudutech IPM Solutions, where among other things I developed experimental protocols, coordinated preparatory activities and followed up on correct implementation of experimental trials.

Within CABI my work entails leading in-country implementation of the mobile pilot in Africa. This pilot project assesses the use of mobile devices (tablet computers) for purposes of data collection at plant clinics, and the provision of information in the form of a factsheet app.
