About

I joined CABI in 2015 to work on the development and implementation of Integrated Pest Management and agricultural development projects in many countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). My role also involves extension work and farmer training, which allows me the opportunity to interact and learn from farmers and government representatives. I also assist the Plantwise Regional Coordinator in managing and implementing programme activities in LAC countries.

My expertise are in plant biochemistry and physiology, with my research addressing topics such as modes of action of natural and synthetic herbicides, plant stress responses and isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds from plants.
