I started working at CABI’s Swiss centre in May 2013 on the biological control of arthropods before joining the Plantwise Knowledge bank team in November 2013.

I have worked on various projects aimed at publishing and disseminating best practice solutions to smallholder farmers using both online and offline tools. I am currently based at the CABI Netherlands office carrying out my PhD research, part-time with Wageningen University, which focuses on biological control and collective action for fall armyworm management in Zambia as part of the Action on Invasives programme.

I am an entomologist, trained in the field of biological control and invasive species. I have two degrees in Bio-ecology, technical (Cegep) and BSc, and an MSc in Entomology from McGill University. I studied behavioural ecology of Trichogramma parasitoids in my research but I also have experience on different parasitoids and natural enemies in laboratory and field works. Before joining CABI, I worked in both Nicaragua and Honduras for two years to help establish an entomological laboratory and train farmers and technicians on Integrated Pest Management projects.
