
The UK-CGIAR wheat project is focused on improving two traits in wheat: rust resilience and high-iron content. The Norwich Institute for Sustainable Development (NISD), one of the project partners, has been working with the Egyptian Agricultural Research Center (ARC) and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) to engage diverse farmers in participatory activities to inform wheat improvement.
