Digital Skills Training Materials
The digital skills training materials are a set of resources aimed at improving participants' abilities across a range of digital competencies. These materials are to be used by facilitators for face-to-face training of digital skills. The materials include practical exercises and insights to support skill development in today’s digital space, covering everything from basic digital literacy to advanced mobile phone usage and software applications.
The digital skills training materials include:
• Facilitator guide
• Presentation slides
• Participant workbook
Materials are split into three modules
• Module 1: Basics
• Module 2: Finding and using information
• Module 3: Communication and collaboration
Within each module, there is a selection of activities. These are designed to help participants achieve the module’s learning objectives.
The activities in each module are designed to fit within a day’s training (one day for each module). You can choose activities from multiple modules to fit your particular situation and your participants’ needs.
The materials, if used in their entirety, will be sufficient for a facilitator to lead up to three days’ worth of activities.

Certification
Students can gain CABI Academy certificates in three levels.
• Foundation: For those new to the subject area and working under supervision
Practitioner: For those with some experience in the subject area, who wish to demonstrate they are able to work with minimal supervision
• Advanced: For those with experience in the subject area and want to demonstrate their ability to take a lead
