About

As the Plantwise Research Coordinator I am responsible for coordinating programme-level research and supporting monitoring and evaluation.

I hold a PhD in plant pathology from University of Copenhagen. I have 20 years of experience as a researcher and development practitioner, including 10 years overseas posts in Costa Rica, Peru, Nicaragua and Uganda. My main areas of expertise cover different aspects of plant health, agricultural research and extension, policies and institutional strengthening.

Before joining CABI in 2012 I was an associate professor at Centre for Health Research and Development, University of Copenhagen, where I together with co-workers developed new concepts and approaches to plant health systems research.
