About

As an experienced development professional with 20 years of experience, I have worked alongside governments, investors, food and beverage companies and development organizations to advance agricultural transformation and improve livelihoods globally.

I have contributed to the design and implementation of high-impact programmes in over 20 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America. This includes developing strategies, policies and projects that address complex challenges while promoting sustainable growth. My expertise spans programme design, policy development, research and strategic leadership at both the field and headquarters levels.

In my role as a Policy and Engagement Advisor at CABI, my work focuses on generating evidence-driven insights that inform policy and practice in critical areas such as access to finance, agricultural technology, soil information systems and One Health.

Previously at CABI, I worked on the development and management of CABI’s private sector engagement strategy and partnerships. I led the engagement, learning and communication of a multi-million-pound programme funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

My core expertise includes evidence generation for policy and practice, private sector engagement and public-private partnerships, inclusive market development and agricultural investment, information and communication technologies for development (ICT4D), food security and livelihoods, women’s empowerment and care work, as well as knowledge exchange and extension services.

As a development economist with a strong foundation in business and economic administration, I hold a Master’s in Globalisation and Development from the Institute of Development Studies. My passion lies in creating systems that empower communities and drive sustainable, inclusive growth.
