PlantwisePlus in Sri Lanka

Agriculture is vital to Sri Lanka's rural economy, with over 70% of the population depending on it for their livelihoods. However, farmers face significant challenges from pests and diseases, while improper pesticide use poses risks to human health and the environment.

Through partnerships with government and local institutions, PlantwisePlus supports farmers via plant clinics and digital tools, helping them protect crops sustainably while implementing the country's pesticide risk reduction strategy.
