PlantwisePlus in Pakistan

Pakistan's agriculture sector is by far the country's largest employer, with smallholder farmers playing a vital role in feeding the country's growing population.

Working with partners, PlantwisePlus is enhancing crop health and farmers' livelihoods. Key projects in Pakistan include the release of a biocontrol agent to safeguard crops from invasive parthenium weed and the establishing of local facilities for the mass rearing of lower-risk plant protection solutions.
