Right, I have done a forward interlocking pattern here, quite roughly, just so I can show you an Aberdeen knot to finish. So all you do is you're going to lift up the last piece of your suture, and then you're going to do a slip knot through that. So put your needle holders down, and you use your fingers for this technique. Keep the tension in your left hand, and you're going to grab the long piece of suture material and loop it down and keep grabbing and just put slipknot after slipknot after slipknot on top of each other depending on how many you want to do. And then all you do, with your needle and suture material, pull that through which locks it. Then, take your needle holders again, and you're going to take a bite out of the skin with those, which pulls your knot flat. And then, just trim to size.
