OK, so we've brought out four bags of fluid into the stable. We hang two bags from the top hooks-- one, two-- and two bags from the bottom hooks. We then need to take our transfer set, which joins the top bag to the bottom bag. So you want to twist off on here. You have two plastic capsules. You want to twist off the bottom one. You then carefully, making sure that your transfer set is clipped off, take the red cap from the spike, making sure you don't touch the white spike. Push that firmly into the bag. Should you make a mistake and touch that on anything, get rid of that and use a fresh one. Again making sure that is clipped off. You do the same to attach this to the bottom bag. So again, twisting off the bottom of there. Take off your red cap and place firmly the spike into the port. So you're going to do that on both sides, both lots of bags. Same thing. Taking off the red cap, twist off the base, and firmly place that spike into the port. Clipped off and into the bottom bag. This one-- you can also place them using these ports. So we'll pop that one in there. So your two top bags are now joined to your bottom bag. We now take our large animal administration set to pass the fluids from the bags to the patient. With these sets you will see you have your spike that will go to the port, and you also have these blue attachments. These attachments are to stop the horse if the horse goes round in circles, spins about, stops the spike from pouring out of the bag. These are placed through deep and quite difficult to get in, but they're placed in through the small holes on the bag. So you will put one in. You will then carefully-- again, taking the other port-- take the top off, or take the cap off if you used the other one-- remove your red cap, again being careful not to touch anything else, and place your spike into the port firmly. You can then attach your second blue attachment. So that is now held firmly. You do the same with your second side. So this one, again, one blue port in, one spike, and the other blue. I'm just gonna put that in there for now. So they will be attached, as well. So you have your two top bags flowing to your bottom bags, and you have your administration set ready to go to your patient. So you now want to open up all of your blue clips to allow the fluids to run through. So you'll unclip the top bags so they can run into the bottom bags, and you'll unclip on here so this can run to the patient. You need to make sure that you have a clip on here that is clipped off, otherwise you're now going to stop running all the fluids through. You need to fill your chamber to about 2/3 full. This will enable you to see the drip rate as explained. So just squeeze it a couple of times, and you will see the fluid coming in. And it will start to fill. Once you've got that about 2/3 full you can unclip from here, which will allow your fluids to run through your curly giving set and get rid of any air bubbles. Once you're happy you're free of any air bubbles, clip off again. Keeping this end clean. This will be ready to attach to the patient. [HORSE NEIGHING]
