Imidocarb (in a dose of 1 ml/100 kg body-weight of a 12% solution of the dipropionate) was given subcutaneously to 95 cattle infected with piroplasmosis (babesiasis) in France. 5 died, and the rest were cured. Abstract

A 12% imidocarb dipropionate formulation was tested in the field at a curative dosage of 1 ml/100 kg s/c in 95 cattle and a prophylactic dosage of 2.5 ml/100 kg s/c in 143 cattle. The results showed this drug to be of considerable promise.
