Abstract

Thelazia was found in the eyes of 314 of 2808 cattle examined at various abattoirs of the Nechernozem zone of the RSFSR over 4 years. T. gulosa was generally the most frequent (1.3 to 25%) but in some districts T. skrjabini was dominant. T. rhodesi was found at only one abattoir in 4 animals.
