In a trial involving 48 cattle in Zimbabwe, naturally infected with P. bovicola, ivermectin was injected subcutaneously in the neck at 200 µg/kg. Cattle were slaughtered 50 or 70 days later. On day 50 there was a 57.6% reduction in the size of lesions and a 71.7% reduction in the mass of trimmings...
