Eight calves were artificially infested with 10 000 Boophilus microplus larvae on days 20, 11 and 2 before a subcutaneous dose of 150 mg/kg ivermectin was given to 3 calves and one of 200 mg/kg to 3 others. The percentage of control per treatment and per stage was above 99%.
