Abstract

In the male pig the values varied from 0.94 to 1.61 µg per 100 ml plasma and were 7 and 11 times higher, respectively, than in castrated and female animals. Values increased with age. The concentration measured in a bull was 0.59 µg per 100 ml plasma.
