The detection of drugs in saliva by thin layer chromatography, spectrophotometry, UV light and infra-red light was found effective in experimental tests with amphetamine, nikethamide, methamino-diazepoxide and chinin, appreciable amounts being demonstrated very soon after administration.-E.V.I.
