Abstract

The method of growing F & M disease virus on bovine tongue epithelium cultures [see V.B. 37, abst. 1233] gave insufficient yield of virus. Replacement of the first tissue culture fluid by a second equal volume was shown to increase the yield. Reasons for this are discussed.-RRS.
