Abstract

No microfilariae were found on examination of 47 cattle and 30 sheep in Porte Alegre, Brazil, but 40 of 208 dogs proved positive. Adult Dipetalonema were recovered from 3 of 15 infected dogs at autopsy. The case history and clinical and autopsy findings of one infected dog are given in detail.
