Abstract

In 20 dairy herds totalling 341 cows, calving between September and December, 166 were dosed with albendazole on the day of calving, and 175 served as untreated controls. Milk yield averaged 19 kg in treated and 17.9 kg in untreated cows. There was no effect on milk quality.
