Abstract

An outbreak of theileriasis in a group of 58 cross-bred cattle in India is described. Of the 7 cows affected, 2 received Berenil and achromycin [tetracycline] and the 5 with haemoglobin values <8g% received these drugs plus 500 ml whole blood. All the animals were cured.
