Abstract

Nymphomania in cattle is characterized by enlargement of the uterus and by cystic ovaries and can be treated by spaying or by enucleation of the cysts and hormone injections. In the mare 60% of the ovaries are not enlarged; spaying is the only effective treatment.-C. A. VAN DORSSEN.
