Abstract

Examination of faecal samples from 108 cattle revealed strongyles in 84 (78%), Paramphistomum in 56 (52%), Fasciola in 14 (13%), Moniezia in 4 (4%) and Capillaria in 2 (2%). Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Mecistocirrus and Oesophagostomum were the principal strongyles present.
