Abstract

The Diptera attacking domestic animals in Poland include Simuliidae, Culicidae, Tabanidae, Gasterophilidae, Hypodermatidae [Oestridae: Hypodermatinae] and Muscidae. Particular reference is given in this short account to Hypoderma bovis on cattle and Gasterophilus intestinalis on horses.
