Abstract

The immunodiffusion test for bluetongue virus (BTV) was done on 1752 bovine blood serum samples collected from 99 farms throughout the Los Lagos (X) Region, Chile, from March 8, to November 20, 1982. Prevalence of BTV antibody was 19.6%. Sixty four (64.6%) farms showed at least one reactor animal.
