Abstract

A total of 80 animals were studied during 4 rainy seasons (October to April) from 1991-95 (Brazil). Treatments against H. irritans were conducted. Despite the low number of flies per cattle, there was a significant liveweight gain (P<0.05) in favour of the treated groups than in the control groups.
