Abstract

Of 301 serum samples collected from goats in 5 areas of the State in 1990-91, 75 (25%) were positive to the passive haemagglutination test using strain IBR-LA as antigen. Other workers have reported positive reactor rates of 34% and 53% among the cattle in Bahia State.
