Faeces were examined from 14 069 animals in large herds in central Bohemia. Of 2084 calves in calving houses, 36% had coccidia and 2.5% gastrointestinal (GI) nematodes; of 1129 examined after transfer to large calf houses, these figures were 57.8 and 7.1% and rose to 72.4 and 10.9% in 4612 animals...
