Of 138 hares that were dissected, 24 (10.1%) had Dictyocaulus larvae in the trachea and bronchi. Usually more than or equal to 1000 larvae were present. Only 2 hares had adult worms. Morphological study of the parasites showed that they were D. viviparus -- an illustrated description is provided....
