Histoplasmosis is a systemic mycosis caused by Histoplasma capsulatum. Data are presented on autopsies over 20 yr. Aspergillus spp. were found in 14 domestic, 15 wild and 29 zoo animals. In most cases the lungs were the seat of infection.
