A cuff fitted around the limb provided pulses of pressure waves to promote lymphatic drainage. It was applied for 30 min a day for 2 weeks at a pressure of 40 Torr to treat oedematous swellings, and was successful in 31 of 48 horses with tenosynovitis and carpal hygroma.
