A four years old Jersey crossbred cow presented with history of straining and recurrent cervico vaginal prolapse four months after parturition was successfully managed with repositioning and Caslick's operation.

The diagnosis, aetiology and forms of treatment are described. The condition was corrected by Caslick's operation in ten cows. In all cases the symptoms were abolished by the operation, and all ten cows subsequently became pregnant. The details of the operation are described.
