Abstract

This report describes the acanthocephalan Filicollis anatis in a white-faced whistle duck (Dendrocygna viduata) at the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp (RZSA). This single finding is compared with records of wild and captive birds. Anthelmintic treatment is briefly discussed.
