CABI is renowned for its information resources in animal science and veterinary medicine.
Our information is used by veterinarians, animal scientists, livestock farmers, extension workers, policy makers, researchers, teachers and students to improve the health, welfare, and productivity in both developed and developing countries. Our resources cover all aspects of animal science, including dairy science, husbandry, breeding, welfare and behaviour, genetics, reproductive biotechnology, and nutrition of livestock, and all aspects of veterinary medicine including companion animals, equines, wild animals and food animals.
We produce VetMed Resource and CAB Abstracts, which are the largest international databases on animal health, an essential tool for veterinary research. We also publish reviews, and books on animal health and other areas of agriculture.
CABI is also a partner in the secretariat for the STAR-IDAZ International Consortium on Animal Health, which aims to coordinate animal health research globally.
*** Booking is now open for 'Animal Welfare and Tourism' (the 7th Annual CABI RVC Symposium); 13th June, South Bank University, London. ***
