Tunisian government benefits from world-leading database of applied life sciences

26 September 2018 - The Centre National Universitaire de Documentation Scientific et Technique (CNUDST) in Tunisia has become the latest to subscribe to CAB Direct , CABI’s online database platform, providing a single point of access to more than 12 million records.

CNUDST, which is part of the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, joins many of the premier universities and research centres from across the globe benefiting from the service which includes the very latest science in the fields of agriculture, the environment, leisure/tourism, veterinary sciences, food science and nutrition.

CAB Direct is a gateway to the most thorough and extensive source of reference in the applied life sciences. CNUDST’s uptake of the service also includes CABI Full Text, giving users automatic access to over 430,000 international journal articles, conference papers and reports (80% of which are not available electronically anywhere else).

CNUDST is one of more than 900 global institutions that subscribe to CAB Direct to help ensure that students receive the very latest in scientific knowledge and research. Almost 350,000 new records were added to the service last year alone.

Professor Mohamed Gharbi, of École Nationale de Médecine Vétérinaire de sidi thabet, said, “CAB Direct offers a comprehensive and userfriendly database with not only peer-reviewed papers but also numerous other documents relative to the subjects. This is very useful for researchers, students and professionals in the various fields.”

Featuring publications from over 120 countries in 50 languages, including English abstracts for most articles, CAB Direct gives researchers the fullest global picture for any subject.
