Abstract

A 68-year-old man who, after returning to Israel from a Caribbean cruise, presented with watery diarrhoea, anorexia, nausea and weight loss. Microscopic examination and Ziehl-Neelsen staining of faecal specimen revealed Cyclospora cayetanensis. He was successfully treated with co-trimoxazole.
