Sustainability and tourism development in island territories.

This chapter analyses the concept of sustainability and island tourism development, and includes a case study of a Sardinian island. The case study refers to the island of Sant'Antioco. A small group of entrepreneurs working within tourism and related sectors on the island was involved to test the feasibility of the limits of acceptable change (LAC) framework to positively debate sustainable island tourism.
