Invasive pests revealed in some greenhouses of Yerevan.

Abstract

The study of the pest fauna from three greenhouse complexes (Grig Garden, Green Paradise, and Avan) located in Yerevan and specialized in the cultivation of ornamental plants has revealed the following invasive species: Toxoptera aurantii Boyer de Fonscolombe, Toxoptera citricida Kirkaldy, Macrosiphoniellasanborni Gillette (Aphididae Latr, Toxoptera, Macrosiphoniella Del Guercio), Trialeurodesvaporariorum Westwood (Aleyrodidae West., Trialeurodes Cockerell), Tetranychusviennensis Zacher (Tetranychidae Donn, Tetranychus Dufour), and Cenopalpusmespili Livschitz et Mitrofanov (Tenuipalpidae Sayed, Cenopalpus Pritchard & Baker). Insecticide- and acaricide-resistant lines of Tetranychusviennensis and Macrosiphumrosae have been found in two greenhouse complexes.
