Abstract
New distribution of Bacopa monnieri from north of Iran.
Abstract
During investigations of the vegetation of a part of the Boujagh National Park in Guilan, Iran, the presence of Bacopa monnieri was recorded. This is thought to be a new record for northern Iran. This species is native to tropical environments and has been reported only in southern Iran. The importance of studying it as an invasive species in the North of Iran is emphasized.
