Abstract

This paper presents the results of investigations conducted to evaluate the relationship between parental size and colony survival of the Asian subterranean termite, Coptotermes gestroi, a relatively small species endemic to southeast Asia and one of the world's most destructive invasive species, through the crucial subsocial stage of new colonies.
