Abstract
New data on the overwintering plants of some jumping plant-lice species (Insecta: Psylloidea).
Abstract
Specimens of several jumping plant-lice species were collected from potential overwintering plants. Adults of three triozids [Bactericera albiventris (Foerster, 1848), Trioza remota Foerster, 1848, and Trioza urticae (Linnaeus, 1758)] were found on pines, spruces, thujas and English yew. Specimens of two psyllid species were also found; Cacopsylla melanoneura (Foerster, 1848) was collected from spruce, and the non-native pest Acizzia jamatonica (Kuwayama, 1908) was collected from junipers, spruce trees and boxwood.
