Abstract

During surveys conducted to collect and identify parasitoids of the fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) infesting maize in Chiapas, Mesico, in 2016 and 2017, the presence of Chelonus insularis, Chelonus sp., Eiphosoma sp., Pristomerus vulnerator and Lespesia postica on infected S. frugiperda were detected. This is thought to be the first report of Eiphosoma sp. and P. vulnerator as natural enemies of S. frugiperda on maize ni Chiapas, Mxico.
