Some succulent species cultivated in Liguria as new hosts of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. opuntiarum.
This paper reports on the discovery of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. opuntiarum infectibg various josts in Liguria, Italy, during surveys conducted in October 2014. These plants included Astrophytum myriostigma, Cereus repandus, Mammillaria zeilmanniana and Euphorbia mammillaris. The identification of the pathogen using morphological, molecular and pathogenicity analyses is also discussed.
