Abstract

Three female specimens of Trachysalambria palaestinensis (Steinitz, 1932), a Lessepsian species, were unexpectedly caught by trammel nets off Marina di Ragusa and off Donnalucata, Ragusa, Sicily, Italy. This is the first record of the species for the Italian waters. Data and measurements of the captured specimens are given.
