Magnoliaceae plants and its distribution pattern in Guizhou Province.

Abstract

After years of field survey and literature review, according to plant classification system of Magnoliaceae proposed by Sima Yongkang, plants number, species composition and its distribution in Guizhou Province were analyzed and studied. The results showed that: (1) There were 60 Magnoliaceae species with 10 genera in Guizhou, including 48 wild species, 10 alien species, 2 kinds of doubt; (2) in terms of genus, Michelia, Manglietia, and Magnolia accounted for 80.0%, and the proportion of other genus, accounting for 20%; (3) Guizhou Province is an important distribution area of Magnoliaceae plants in Southwest China, its species number lower than that of Yunnan (61), higher than that of Guangxi (45), Hunan (28), Sichuan (26), and other province; and in terms of genus number, lower than that of Yunnan (10), higher than that of Guangxi (8), Hunan (6), Sichuan (5); (4) In terms of horizontal distribution, wild species were mostly distributed in Southern Guizhou and Northern Guizhou, and few distribution in Central Guizhou. In terms of vertical distribution, it mostly distributed in the elevation of 500-1 000 m and 1 000-1 500 m, flowed by 1 500-2 000 m, and few distribution Above 2 000 m. Guiyang City, Anshun City, and Liupanshui City, were the main introduction areas in Guizhou Province.
